My origin story

Born and raised in Northern California, I quickly became enamored with the beauty around me. Because I was always surrounded by the Earth’s natural artistry and majestic landscapes, my right brain quickly dominated over the left and I started growing creatively from a young age. My grandmother taught me painting at 4 and my curiosity only expanded from there.

Meet My Personal Assistant:

My inner four-year-old self, always taking creative risks.

I started pursuing the arts in high school, where I started drawing, painting, film photography, and creative writing. Upon graduating, I sold paintings & jewelry here and there, but didn’t start getting serious with my artistic endeavors until I discovered stained glass. Once I started working with my hands and selling glass pieces, I knew I not only wanted, but needed my life to be surrounded by art in one way or another.

My background in the arts

I studied Fine Art & Design in Paris, France, where I received an education in a wide variety of mediums and self-expression, including graphic design. This is where I honed my digital design craft, though I am always evolving and growing creatively.

Today, I am now working as a graphic designer for a variety of brands and have maintained an active studio art practice. I work to maintain a balanced connection with my art and clients to ensure satisfaction in both execution and creative output.

Pursuing a creative life

An idea is like a tangled spool of thread. It can be messy, chaotic, and even ugly, but you have to cultivate the patience to pull the thread until you reach the final result of any piece.

I find a lot of my projects are rooted in this idea, and it helps me see the world through a real lens. Sitting with the ordinary, the flawed, and finding beauty anyways. Appreciation for radical realness.

Art, for me, is a way of participating in something larger, a continuous thread of human experience. Creating allows me to contribute to that thread, while helping others tell their own stories through design.

outside the studio

When I’m not creating, I am recharging through a variety of movement and exploration. Some things that light me up are hiking a new mountain, rock climbing (training my fear of heights), yoga for spiritual integration, traveling for expanding empathy, and reading greek mythology or my personal bible: Women Who Run with the Wolves.
