This piece represents the importance we place, as a society, on living without flaws. I created designs by dissecting imagery of stretch marks, cellulite and scar tissue, then screen-printed them on mirror to show the changes in our reflection as we grow. Creating an abstract painting, the imagery mirrors the internal chaos within western culture’s beauty standards.
