NOT MY RELIGION

GRAPHIC DESIGN SILK-SCREENPRINTING SERIES

PARIS, FRANCE │ 2024

As a continuation of Beautiful or Ugly, this silkscreen print series explores the way the sexualization of the female form is embedded within our cultural framework. The prints are composed of repeating patterns resembling DNA strands, constructed from portraits of my body. At the center of each “strand” are photographs of inanimate objects with the same feminine form that society repeatedly idolizes. The repetition evokes a ritualistic, almost cult-like devotion, reflecting how this idealized form is treated with a near-religious reverence.
